Ubuntu 9.04 is dual booting on my laptop (with Windows XP SP1), dual-booting on my old HP Desktop (with Windows Vista) and Fedora 10 is running on my Acer Aspire One (first generation) netbook. The dual-boot setup on my desktop PC is new, by the way.
It looks great. However, I know I'll enevitably need to back it up as I will be getting a gaming-rig laptop soon and a Macbook Pro for college. Life is great, nontheless.
Linux pretty much simplifies my life on my computers and soon Android will simplify my life mobly (Motorola Droid). I've had "Open Source is the Future" as my email signature for quite a while now and it seems I've been correct soo far. Lightweight desktops of Linux are the choice for many Netbooks (beginning with the Eee PC), Android is popular on phones and soon Google will release it's own linux-based OS for netbooks and desktops.
SWEET.
